Cynthia Carmichael Smith

About

From a young age, Cynthia has had a passion for creating artwork. She has used a variety of media over the years.

After college, Cynthia went on to get a Medical Illustration and a Marketing degree. She spent several years working for a corporate sales incentive company as a graphic designer. After having children, Cynthia co-founded and owned her own graphic design company for almost 20 years. All the while, she did illustrations and artwork on the side.

After closing her company to semi-retire, Cynthia took back up her passion for creating artwork full time. Today, she enjoys using acrylic paints and colored, pastel and graphite pencils to create realistic images. Occasionally, she creates artwork with ink or mixed media. Cynthia focuses on wildlife, pets, other domestic animals, and portraits.
